At school we have some new classrooms being built. We were asked to do some onomatopoeia poetry on what we head when the classrooms were being demolished.
Classrooms coming down
SCRUNCH as the claw like a tiger swats into
the wooden walls CRUMPLING them down.
Rolling over the rotting debris the
RUMBLE Only gets louder.
As the school children SCREAM out in joy the
teachers BARK out their orders.
PHHHHT another truck arrives taking
everything that is unwanted.
CRICK CRINKLE CRUNCH the workers stomp
over the newly placed gravel.
Munching on their food the workers
have a well earned lunch
As the bell BRRRRINNG it back to work for them.
Surely now the construction is
well on its way?
